Europe’s biggest independent film festival is headed to Berlin! Raindance has been celebrating independent film since 1992 with its internationally-renowned film festival taking place each year in London. This year, Raindance is excited to announce the first edition of RAINDANCE FILM FESTIVAL // BERLIN, curated by Raindance Berlin and the Berlin Film Society.

RAINDANCE FILM FESTIVAL // BERLIN will feature a number of hard-hitting, eye-opening documentaries, acclaimed feature films, award-winning short films, intensive filmmaking workshops, director Q&As, and panel discussions.

OVER 4 DAYS, independent film will rule over Berlin and an array of film screenings, events, workshops, and discussions will take over the infamous KATERHOLZIG club, which will also serve as our playground when the day is over and the after parties start.

THE BEST FILMS from this year’s Raindance Film Festival are a rare mix of international independent films that will shock, enlighten, inspire, and entertain. From the controversial American film HOW TO MAKE MONEY SELLING DRUGS to the award-winning Japanese high school drama THE KIRISHIMA THING, audiences can expect a diverse and original array of exemplary contemporary independent films.
